The 'Encore' Forum is a work group for teaching and   promoting psychoanalysis, and it is part of the International Forums of the Lacanian Field. 

 

The group was founded by professionals in the fields of psychology, the arts and cultural studies, who aim at studying and exploring the Lacanian psychoanalytic knowledge.

The desire to create another forum that studies Lacan's teaching is, as its name indicates, "a more" (encore) - a desire to know "more". A desire for thinking and discovering, by active sharing with others, in an atmosphere that enables the saying of each participant, and which encourages common production.

The 'Encore' Forum is proposing various frameworks: cartels, seminars, reading groups and lectures as well as case presentations.

The Forum is designated for professionals who are interested in Lacanian psychoanalysis and others who are interested in understanding the discontents in our contemporary civilization.

​

The ethics of psychoanalysis which we adopt is positioned towards the real and aimed at the real in the speech of the subject.
